Who is a good fit for this framework?

This framework is designed for established business owners who are ready to move beyond reacting to their business and start leading it with a clear strategic direction. The best fit are small business owners with 0-20 employees, offering a service or service based deliverable business model, and has control of the business decisions and future trajectory of the business. What is the time commitment for the program?

We will meet twice a month for 90 minute strategy sessions. In order to get the most out of the program, there will be 1-3 action steps for you to complete between sessions. Usually these steps involve gathering information, updating a process or media asset, reflection questions, or implementing changes that we have worked through. The steps will be strategic and doable, as to not add to your overwhelm, but still keep progress moving forward. A great followup program after completing your Signature Framework, is the Impact Business Circle. This group mastermind provides biweekly accountability and support for implementing your plan and changes into your business.

How is this different than a traditional business plan?

Typically when creating a plan, business owners fill in blank sections of a template with what they think about their business, or what has been historically true (or just use AI). What that is missing is the process of going through the elements of your business with an experienced advisor. It isn’t necessarily the document itself. Together, we will going deeper in your business strategy to determine if your current path is your best path for growth toward your goals, realign any elements that are not purposeful or intentional. You will also be learning about business strategy and filling the gaps of your business owner acumen as we work together.

What is not included during our sessions is market analysis and detailed accounting projections. We will discuss profitability and capacity, and lay some groundwork that you can expand on with your financial professional. It is encouraged for you to bring any market research/ comparisons to the session as supporting data.

This business framework is a flexible document that is adjusted according to the industry, business goals, and unique positioning of each business owner. I have created the strategic elements after working with business owners for over fifteen years, after seeing what they need in order to feel confident and organized in their business. It is not a one size fits all template.

Does this include a marketing or content plan?

We will discuss your main client attraction method and document it in your plan, but there is not a separate marketing or content plan included. Many owners continue on with monthly strategy sessions following this program to work on these topics, and additional business refinement.
